Here is a impressive red from Yecla, Spain. It’s called “L” (for Lujuria), a blend of Merlot and Monastrell. Dark fruits and soft tannins are it’s signature. Easy quaffing but still interesting enough for a fussy palate.
At the Banff Wine Store, priced at $11.60 it’s a sweet value!
My friend Kimberley, who is not much of a red drinker, really loved this one.
